Why did Jennifer cross the road?...to get a ticket to see Keith Urban of course!
Last night I had planned on going to the Dame to see a show with Tim and John around 7 and then possibly going to Mcarthys for a bit. I was walking down Upper on the way to the Dame when I hear yelling, screaming, honking and my name being yelled. I turn around only to see a Suburban loaded up with the most of the Fink family. They were on their way to see Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban at Rupp Arena. Low and behold they just happened to have an extra ticket and I just happened to be crossing the street at the right time. I ended up going to the concert! Wonderfully random. I did head down to Mcarthys when I was done to meet up with the boys...it turned out to be a great night :)

Awareness Test
Bret Foster originally posted this on his blog, but I thought I would post it on here as well, just in case you don't know him. Take the test and let me know how aware you are. I am NOT very aware.

The Office Returns
After 100 days off...The Office is returning this Thursday night at 9. I am so excited about it!
Because LOST isn't coming back on until the 24th, and I am missing Thursday night dinners, I have decided to cook before the show.
We are eating at 7:30, come eat with us!
Until Then...here is a little nugget of Michael Scott goodness.

80's night recap
As expected, 80's night was a huge success. The only thing that makes me sad is that I am just now discovering this wonderful jewel of an event every Friday night. Here are a few pictures from last night. Keep in mind, these were taken after over an hour of intense dancing in a hot and crowded room. :)

Work on the Keene Family Cemetery
Tonight, Markey (my cousin) and I went to Keeneland to plant flowers at the Keene family cemetery. For those of you who do not know, that is where my Aunt Cissy is buried. She died just over 2 years ago of ovarian cancer.
Oliver "Jack" Keene was Markey's great uncle and the founder of Keeneland. Cissy's parents and her older brother lived in the Old Keene Home before she was born (it is the white home on the Keeneland property).
One of Cissy's projects before she passed was the restoration of the Keene family cemetery. It had not been taken care of very well over the years, and was in serious need of repair. It is almost ironic because she started the project before she was even diagnosed with the cancer. Ever since she passed, Markey and Missy have gone out and done work periodically to upkeep what Cissy did. Tonight, in preparation for the spring meet, we planted orange and purple petunias in large pots. I was always very close to my aunt and miss her so much, so it was my pleasure to help out!

Weekend Plans
I am really looking forward to this weekend! Jessica Woodard will be back in Kentucky and we are all celebrating! Jess is a good friend from high school who moved to Georgia last year. Here are the plans for the weekend...
Friday night the crew is headed to Pazzo's pizza pub...always a favorite!
Last weekend, Britt and I experienced our first 80's dance party at the Dame. They have the party every Friday night. It was so much fun! I love to dance, and especially to some 80's tunes. I have penciled this in to my Friday night routine and this weekend will be no exception. If you are looking for something to do...come on down, the more the merrier. :)
This weekend is also the opening weekend of Keeneland! I try to make it out to the track at least one time during each meet. We are planning on heading out there on Saturday.
I can't wait!
